gmk NQ Careers Event

We are holding a careers event from 6.oopm onwards on Monday 11th April for lawyers due to qualify in Sept 2016.

As an NQ, the early years are crucial in shaping your career, so as a newly qualified lawyer it is important you consider the available options and seek advice from people who know the market well. Our experienced consultants will provide guidance on:

  • The current legal landscape
  • CV preparation
  • Interview technique
  • Career planning for the future
  • The recruitment process

The event is focused on lawyers qualifying in Autumn 2016 who are currently considering their qualification options within private practice. Venue will be announced nearer the time but will be located in the City (EC3). Drinks and canapes will be provided.

Referral Scheme

We hope that you feel able to recommend gmk to friends and colleagues because of the quality of our service, however as an extra incentive we also operate a referral scheme.

As a token of our appreciation if you refer a candidate to us who we place in a permanent position at a salary of £100k+, we will give you £2,000 worth of vouchers of your choice. For salaries £60k-100k it will be £1,500, and below £60k it will be £1,000. Contract or temp roles pro rata.

Just ask them to mention your name when they contact us!

Terms and conditions
  • The gift amount will be awarded 12 weeks after the referee has commenced their new role.
  • To participate in this scheme candidates must mention they were referred to us by you when they first contact us.
  • If the referred candidate is already on our database and has been contacted by us in the last six months, the referral will not qualify as part of the scheme.
  • For temporary placements, the gift amount due is pro rated according to the period of time they are retained by the firm.
