Paralegals can now qualify without a training contract

For the past number of years Paralegals have struggled to secure training contracts, however unknown to most the SRA (Solicitors Regulation Authority) has granted an exemption for LPC graduates who can demonstrate evidence of training in 3 or more practice areas.

Although this may seem straightforward the SRA will heavily scrutinise this process as the Law Society requires paralegals to reassure their experience is comparable to a formal training contract.
